ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION: One of my favorite times of the week is relaxing with my boyfriend, drinking our morning coffee and watching the CBS Sunday Morning show. As a segue between stories and commentaries on the show, they display sun face images in various artistic forms, which inspired me to paint this piece. I thought this week's sunny days and warm temps would be a good time for her to make her debut. Enjoy the sunshine!

After raising a family and moving to the Roanoke Valley from Richmond VA, Donna began to explore her long-held passion for art. She loves travel, and much of her art is inspired by places she has visited. Donna is diverse in subject matter and style. Water, glass and its reflections, vineyards, animals, florals and landscapes are among her favorite subjects. Her style varies between realism, impressionism and expressionism, depending on her mood.
