“Serenity” is a 24x48” oil painting on Masonite (hardboard).

I experimented with oil on a very large piece of Masonite (hardboard) here and really had a lot of fun doing so. It was enjoyable working on a surface other than canvas. The Masonite is very smooth and allows for easier blending. I was pleased with the overall effect. For me, this painting instills in me a sense of serenity and peacefulness. I hope you enjoy it, as well.
