Thank you so much for your very kind comments about this piece and my gallery. I am thrilled that my mother's painting took first place in the Breast Cancer Awareness Month contest. She has been so supportive of me my entire life and has been very enthusiastic and encouraging of my painting endeavors. I feel very fortunate, after her surviving breast cancer, to still have her in my life!
