Donna Tuten is a painter, working primarily in oils. She currently lives at Smith Mountain Lake in Franklin County, Virginia. After raising a family and moving to the Roanoke Valley from Richmond VA, Donna began to explore her long-held passion for art. She loves travel, and much of her art is inspired by places she has visited. Donna is diverse in subject matter and style. Water, glass and its reflections, vineyards, animals, florals and landscapes are among her favorite subjects. Her style varies between realism, impressionism and expressionism, depending on her mood. Such a nice job on the cardina Donna. You captured him perfectly. Isn't is funny that the male is the colorful beautiful bird and the female is a bit drab. Your backgrounds are always so interesting and creative, just right for the main topic of your painting.
