“Bucolic Fincastle Farm,” 24x36” oil painting on gallery-wrapped canvas. Looking for inspiration and driving through back roads in Fincastle, Virginia, USA, I spotted this lovely scene and just knew it would make a great painting. This is my impressionistic interpretation, painted in oils, with bold brushstrokes on a large-format canvas.
This painting will make its appearance at the Carilion Patient Art Show in Roanoke VA. The show runs from November 20, 2018 to February 7, 2019, with a reception taking place on January 8, 2019, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. A percentage of the purchase price benefits the Dr. Robert L.A. Keeley Healing Arts Program.
I hope that you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed painting it!
