We are now living at Smith Mountain Lake, and we took a boat ride to our friends’ home on Betty’s Creek. While we were relaxing on their dock, I looked just down the cove and saw this beautiful scene. I immediately knew that I wanted to paint it. It was such a peaceful and serene setting.
